With roots in the アングラ系 (Angura Kei) and ピコピコ系 (Piko-Piko Kei) scenes, the Japanese term “白塗り” (Shironuri) literally means “white face” in English – the type of makeup that is the standard for this genre.
The style evokes a very “Japanese” look, which often goes hand in hand with the expression of Japanese ideals, culture, tradition and look – like the アングラ (Angura) groups often want to express in their visual performance.
Starwave Records will release a new omnibus DVD, titled “Starwave Records Vol.4”, to commemorate the 5th anniversary of Starwave Records on September 9, 2015!
This will be the 4th omnibus release of the label since it was founded, and it will feature music videos from 11 different artists

A new music video DVD containing songs from every artist on the label will be released to celebrate the 4th anniversary of Starwave Records. The DVD has been given the name “Starwave Records Vol.3”, and will be released on July 2nd, 2014.
