Like the name already suggests, there is a bit of a crossover area between the お洒落系 (Osare Kei) and コテ系 (Kote Kei) genres. Becoming popular in the early to mid 2000s by combining the elements of both main genres (where some bands leaned more towards the お洒落系 (Osare Kei) genre and others more to the コテ系 (Kote Kei) genre).
The genre is still very much around today, but despite certain artists saying they’re aiming for it specifically, it’s still more of a category used on paper rather than in actual conversation.
Nellfin are about to release their first EP, titled “Untouched”, which will be available through download and streaming services starting October 7, 2022!
The EP will contain 6 tracks, including a new version of the song “REVE”, which was previously released as a free demo
Nellfin are a ヴィジュアル系 (Visual Kei) band from the 名古屋 (Nagoya) Prefecture, but we’re pretty sure that you haven’t heard much about them just yet. And if you have, well, then we hope to be able to tell you a little more about this duo and their music.
