Calmando Qual was a ヴィジュアル系 (Visual Kei) band based in Tokyo. Their music goes in the コテ系 (Kote Kei), メンヘラ系 (Menhera Kei) and 密室系 (Misshitsu Kei) subgenres, but they also made use of a gothic, industrial, punk and rock sound. They changed their name to “Twisted Clock” briefly in 2007, before returning to the name Calmando Qual in 2009. They started their activities in 2001, but disbanded in 2016.

A new music video DVD containing songs from every artist on the label will be released to celebrate the 4th anniversary of Starwave Records. The DVD has been given the name “Starwave Records Vol.3”, and will be released on July 2nd, 2014.

Calmando Qual is quite well known in the European ヴィジュアル系 (Visual Kei) scene, but let me introduce them anyway, just to make sure. They’re a gothic ヴィジュアル系 (Visual Kei) band, which has formed in August of 2001 by vocalist Hibiki and guitarist Tak, but only signed with Starwave Records in 2010.
