Last January DIR EN GREY dropped their absolutely MASSIVE greatest hits album which contained a total of 44 songs from their entire career so far, all of them being voted onto the album by the fans. The reason for this absolute beast of a project was the 20th anniversary of the band, and as an extra gift they
雪 (Yuki)
She originally started the project in 2009 as a photographer under the name of Arlequin Photography, but developed an interest in journalism and translation ever since. Because of these interests interviews and reviews were added to the project, until it eventually hit the limits as a "photographer" in 2021, and Arlequin Magazine was added to the mix.
雪 (Yuki) is a native Dutch speaker with a graphic design degree, which means she is also the main person behind Arlequin Creations.
After all these years she is still the main person who does interviews the interviews and live photos that you see on Arlequin, but also a large chunk of the reviews and behind-the-scenes work and communication goes through her.
She speaks Dutch and English on a native level, but also understands Japanese and German.

NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST // A blackout, or a “WHITEOUT?”
It’s been a while since the last physical release of NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST (since they did release a digital only single called “Live to Die” in August of 2017), but in March of 2018 the five guys dropped a single that has been given the name “WHITEOUT”.
The single comes
TRNTY D:CODE // Both legs on the ground thanks to “GRAVITY”
KILLANETH was a relatively short-lived project that gained traction within the realm of ヴィジュアル系 (Visual Kei) relatively quickly, so it came as quite a shock when the band announced their upcoming tour would be canceled as a whole and the band itself would disband on top of that.

游彩 (Yusai) // The conclusion of 游彩 (Yusai): “水屑となりて (Mikuzu to Narite)”
游彩 (Yusai) was actually created by the four remaining members of the band ジン (ZIN) after vocalist 唄 (Riku) suddenly withdrew from the band without any prior notice. In order to not have to cancel any shows guitarist Luy (now 雨音 類 (Amane Rui)) dropped his position as guitarist and took the stage as a replacement
SANA // “When I touched music it felt like freedom. Falling in love with it was easy.”
SANA currently is a solo musician, but we first saw him appear on the music scene in 2001 when he was in the band “Lusid bare inu”, but the band broke up two years later, and SANA joined the band “MASK” in June of that same year. Even though “MASK” was only on the scene for three years, they released 8 maxi-singles
vistlip // This is “It”
The ヴィジュアル系 (Visual Kei) genre has many, many artists. But some of them are more familiar names than others. And vistlip is one of those more familiar names. With 10 years to their name already the group has made it into the hearts of many fans, and onto the playlist of many listeners alike. Another fun fact
vistlip // Two new singles and a DVD announced for the 10th anniversary
vistlip have been on the scene for quite some time already, long enough to celebrate their 10th anniversary this year. The group is quite popular both in Japan and overseas, which persuaded them to “strengthen their communication overseas”. “Since our early days we’ve
