Jupiter announces new single “Ecliptic”

After a little hiatus, Jupiter have announced the release of a new single “Ecliptic” on June 4, 2025.

The single will exist out of three new songs as well as the instrumental version for each song, making for six tracks in total, priced at ¥1,980.
While pre-orders will start on HIZAKI’s official online shop on April 30, the single will also be sold exclusively at Disk Union starting on June 4. (There is however an option for non-Japanese residents through CDJapan as well – all of the links can be found at the end of this article.)

According to the band themselves, their strongest melodic metal work is finally ready. This single will be their first work with the new lineup – existing out of vocalist KUZE, guitarists HIZAKI and TERU, new bassist CERO and drummer DAISUKE. (You might recognize CERO as one of the guitarists for 縁 (Enishi) as well, among other projects.) The title track has been written by HIZAKI, and the third track is a new live tune composed by TERU.

To celebrate the release, Jupiter will be going on a short tour in Japan between April 29 and June 27 as well.

雪 (Yuki) is the owner and driving force behind Arlequin.
She originally started the project in 2009 as a photographer under the name of Arlequin Photography, but developed an interest in journalism and translation ever since. Because of these interests interviews and reviews were added to the project, until it eventually hit the limits as a "photographer" in 2021, and Arlequin Magazine was added to the mix.

雪 (Yuki) is a native Dutch speaker with a graphic design degree, which means she is also the main person behind Arlequin Creations.
After all these years, she's still the one responsible for the interviews and most of the live photography you see here at Arlequin, but the majority of reviews and behind-the-scenes work is also done by her.

The reviews she writes are from the viewing point of an overseas fan, and thus written in English before being translated to Dutch, Spanish and Japanese. In the English versions she also tries to explain the meaning behind certain kanji or song titles to the readers, but what you don't see here is that these explanations are omitted in the Japanese versions in order to appeal to these readers more.

She speaks Dutch and English on a native level, but also understands Japanese and German.
