KAMIJO already announced a new release coming “this summer” in our recent interview before the start of the European tour “The Anthem” last June. Since the release date for the new mini-album “VIOLET DAWN” is getting closer, more information has been revealed.
The mini-album has been created with the theme of “EPIC INTENSE”, and contains five songs including “VIOLET DAWN”, “The Anthem” (which KAMIJO already showed the audience during his live shows of “The Anthem” in Europe last month) and “Twilight”. The other two songs and the cover art have not been revealed yet, so we can’t give you an accurate tracklist at the moment of writing. (We’ll update this post once this information becomes available, don’t worry!)
What we can tell you is that the mini-album will be released in four different types on July 31 (Wed):
01. Limited edition (2CD+DVD) (CDJapan | Amazon)
02. Limited edition (CD+DVD) (CDJapan | Amazon)
03. Regular edition (CD only) (CDJapan | Amazon)
04. Anime edition (CD only) (CDJapan | Amazon)
Note: Arlequin has a partnership with both CDJapan and Amazon, if you place an order through one of the links to CDJapan or Amazon from our website you’ll be supporting us at no extra cost to you. The price of the item remains the same for you, but we’d be eternally grateful for your support via this route! ♥
雪 (Yuki) is the owner and driving force behind Arlequin.
She originally started the project in 2009 as a photographer under the name of Arlequin Photography, but developed an interest in journalism and translation ever since. Because of these interests interviews and reviews were added to the project, until it eventually hit the limits as a "photographer" in 2021, and Arlequin Magazine was added to the mix.
雪 (Yuki) is a native Dutch speaker with a graphic design degree, which means she is also the main person behind Arlequin Creations.
After all these years she is still the main person who does interviews the interviews and live photos that you see on Arlequin, but also a large chunk of the reviews and behind-the-scenes work and communication goes through her.
She speaks Dutch and English on a native level, but also understands Japanese and German.
