Mikaru // Second editions of radio and livestream performance with Yudai

You might have seen my previous posts about Mikaru’s radio show and online live performance with Yudai (G.L.A.M.S, guitar), but in case you haven’t, here’s a quick overview:
On March 27 Mikaru held his very first solo radio performance on YouTube in which he answered questions from fans in both English and Japanese, and on April 24 he did an acoustic live that was broadcasted online exclusively with the help of Yudai, who you might know as the guitarist of G.L.A.M.S.
Both of these activities went so well that Mikaru decided to give a second edition to the both of them, taking place next week Saturday and the Saturday after that already!

G.L.A.M.S Radio

The second edition of G.L.A.M.S Radio is going to take place next week already, on May 22nd (Saturday) at 10PM Japanese time (which is 3PM for everyone living in Central European time).
This radio show is free to attend, and will be taking place on G.L.A.M.S’ YouTube channel, here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQT3Dw6azDJBxkqaVdNzTdg
Everyone who’s interested can join, and the archive will be able to be viewed up to 24 hours after the broadcast, just like last time. (After this the broadcast will only be visible to members of the channel. For more information about channel membership I’m going to refer you to the original announcement of the radio show: Mikaru – A new radio show through YouTube.)

However, Mikaru is asking for your help to create the show!
If you have any questions, requests or suggestions for what he can do during the show you can send those directly to him through glamsofficial@gmail.com.
(And again, you can send your message in English! It doesn’t have to be in Japanese!)

G.L.A.M.S 2nd Live Stream concert

For the second edition of the online performance Mikaru has once again teamed up with Yudai for an unique acoustic show from a special stage in the studio. This show will only be broadcasted online, so there is no physical audience present. The rehearsals for it are currently in full swing, so you can look forward to a fun second edition of the performance on May 29th at 8PM Japanese time (which is 1PM in CET).

Unlike the radio show, the online live is for ticket purchasers only. A ticket costs ¥3,000 / €23 / $27 (depending on which currency you would like to use) and can only be purchased through PayPal with an email reservation.

How do I purchase a ticket?
If you would like to buy a (or multiple) tickets you have to send an email containing you name, email address and preferred currency (Japanese yen, Euro or US Dollar) to glamsofficial@gmail.com. Once your application has been processed you will receive a PayPal invoice in your preferred currency and after payment the link to the live performance will be emailed to you.
So do make sure you can receive emails from this address!

If you have any questions or concerns, you can send them to the same email address and Mikaru will do his very best to help you out! (In English, of course…)

Did you know…

As a little fun fact… Right before the pandemic hit Mikaru, Yudai, Tetsuto and Syu were on tour in Europe. And it probably won’t surprise you that the further they got into the tour the more limitations and adjustments they had to make due to restrictions and attempts to contain the virus. They eventually ended up having to cancel their very last show and turning the before-last date in Dordrecht into their improvised tour final. This show in Special Edition was an acoustic show, which at that time was a really weird setup for G.L.A.M.S.
But, thanks to the diversity and skill of all members they managed to put down a very unique show which actually inspired the setup for the online live performances of Mikaru and Yudai today!

So as strange as it sounds, the guys have learned how to create an acoustic version of G.L.A.M.S thanks to the pandemic and the quick thinking and never-ending support of Kim and Antoine from Uknight! The more you know, right?

雪 (Yuki) is the owner and driving force behind Arlequin.
She originally started the project in 2009 as a photographer under the name of Arlequin Photography, but developed an interest in journalism and translation ever since. Because of these interests interviews and reviews were added to the project, until it eventually hit the limits as a "photographer" in 2021, and Arlequin Magazine was added to the mix.

雪 (Yuki) is a native Dutch speaker with a graphic design degree, which means she is also the main person behind Arlequin Creations.
After all these years she is still the main person who does interviews the interviews and live photos that you see on Arlequin, but also a large chunk of the reviews and behind-the-scenes work and communication goes through her.

She speaks Dutch and English on a native level, but also understands Japanese and German.
