VELVET EDEN // New MV DVD set to release in July

VELVET EDEN are about to release their new music video collection DVD titled “Fim Noir” on July 30, 2014!

The DVD will be released through Darkest Labyrinth, and even though the official date is set for the end of July, you can secure your copy early by purchasing it at the release party held at 池袋CYBER (IkebukuroCYBER) on July 8 already.

Darkest Labyrinth has published the following comment about the release:
“Fronted by DADA, an artist active in various music scenes, VELVET EDEN has been layering erotic, bewitching, storytelling lyrics upon inorganic digital beats to construct it’s own unique world of music since the 90’s.
Now VELVET EDEN presents their first video production in 14 years. The collection includes tracks from their first best album “Double Twelve” which was already released earlier this year. Hoping to allow the listener to experience the songs more deeply as well as arrangements from the time of the group’s formation, combining their earliest image with their latest songs to create a perspective both aesthetic and immoral through a total of 4 music videos.”

雪 (Yuki) is the owner and driving force behind Arlequin.
She originally started the project in 2009 as a photographer under the name of Arlequin Photography, but developed an interest in journalism and translation ever since. Because of these interests interviews and reviews were added to the project, until it eventually hit the limits as a "photographer" in 2021, and Arlequin Magazine was added to the mix.

雪 (Yuki) is a native Dutch speaker with a graphic design degree, which means she is also the main person behind Arlequin Creations.
After all these years she is still the main person who does interviews the interviews and live photos that you see on Arlequin, but also a large chunk of the reviews and behind-the-scenes work and communication goes through her.

She speaks Dutch and English on a native level, but also understands Japanese and German.
