ミサルカ (Misaruka) are about to release their new album, titled “The Butterfly Effect ~In the Romeo & Juliet~”, on January 14, 2015!
The album will be released through Starwave Records, and even though the official release date is set for mid January you can secure your copy early starting November 12 at live shows.
Starwave Records has published the following comment about the release:
“What did Romeo do upon learning of the unavoidable ending that the two of them would face…? Even if I lose everything, I want to protect you…”
The story now leads into the beginning with this compilation of works from ミサルカ (Misaruka)’s concept series that began with the mini-album “-Juliet-“. How will you interpret the true essence of the world view displayed in the works of ミサルカ (Misaruka)?
Their second album also contains “-Rasen-“, the song that was also used in the movie 日々ロック (Hibi Rock). The album comes in two types, where Type A includes the track “-Calling-” and a DVD with the music video for “-The Butterfly Effect-“, while Type B contains the track “-柘榴-” (-Zakuro-) as both a song on the first disc and the music video on the included DVD.
A oneman live show to commemorate the release will be held at TSUTAYA O-WEST on November 12!”

雪 (Yuki) is the owner and driving force behind Arlequin.
She originally started the project in 2009 as a photographer under the name of Arlequin Photography, but developed an interest in journalism and translation ever since. Because of these interests interviews and reviews were added to the project, until it eventually hit the limits as a "photographer" in 2021, and Arlequin Magazine was added to the mix.
雪 (Yuki) is a native Dutch speaker with a graphic design degree, which means she is also the main person behind Arlequin Creations.
After all these years she is still the main person who does interviews the interviews and live photos that you see on Arlequin, but also a large chunk of the reviews and behind-the-scenes work and communication goes through her.
She speaks Dutch and English on a native level, but also understands Japanese and German.
